History: Dentomaxillofacial Radiology MSc programme has been founded in 12.09.2001 and gave its first MSc degree in 2003.
Goal: The aim of the MSc education in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology Department is to educate dentists, who are raised with modern and international facilities, capable of establishing diagnosis of oral, teeth and mucosal diseases with the adjunctive examination methods and the most appropriate treatment planning for the treatment of these tissues, performing treatment of oral mucosal diseases, have the knowledge on the dental management of oral manifestations of the systemic diseases, using and interpreting radiological techniques used in the modern dentistry.
Objective: The main objective of the MSc program in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology Department is to raise dentists holding a MSc degree in the field of dentomaxillofacial radiology, who are capable of establishing accurate diagnosis and the most appropriate treatment planning, interpreting the advanced imaging techniques used in dentistry, performing treatment of oral mucosal diseases and aims to provide the continuity of personal advancement.
Qualification Awarded: The MSc degree in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology is awarded to the graduates who have succesfully completed all courses in the curriculum.
