Foundation: The PhD program in Pediatric Dentistry has been founded in 2002 and gave its first PhD degree in 2005.
Aim: The aim of doctorate program in Pediatric Dentistry is to educate specialists who are able to achieve the diagnosis and treatment of infants, children, adolescents and patients with special care needs, and to design and implement a preventive dental care program on an individual or community basis, and to follow scientific developments in pediatric dentistry.
Objective: Doctorate program in Pediatric Dentistry aims to educate specialists who are competent and experienced in meeting the oral health care needs of infants, children, adolescents and patients with special care needs and are capable of designing and conducting a scientific research in the area of specialty and take part in education in pediatric dentistry for their academic careers.
Qualification: The doctorate degree in Pediatric Dentistry is awarded to the graduates who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum.
