Foundation: The PhD program was founded in 2001 and the first graduates received their degrees in 2006.
Aim: The aim of the Restorative Dentistry PhD program is to educate specialists who are clinically and scientifically sufficient for providing health service to the community and who are able to plan and perform original scientific research.
Objective: Our main objective as the department of Restorative Dentistry is to produce specialists with self-confidence who are compatible with the society, who are able to make independent decisions and assume responsibilities, who are research-minded, scientific, productive, committed to medical and ethical principles and who are aware of the significance of lifelong learning.
Qualification Awarded: The PhD degree in Restorative Dentistry is awarded to the graduates who have succesfully completed all courses in the curriculum.
